What’s new in this release

Along with various other software improvements and fixes, the following new features were added to DiDaCT: 

  • A SECS driver, which supports both SECS-I and SECS-II. 
  • Message parsing, enhanced validation and logging capabilities. 
  • E84 status check functionality allows unchecked signals to be ignored.

What’s new in this release

Test reports can be exported to an MS Excel document now. This new feature allows easy exchange of test results with an appealing and clear structure between the end user and the equipment vendor or vice versa.

Completion of data setup has been significantly accelerated with this release. An autofill function supports fast completion of equipment constant identifiers (ECIDs), status variable identifiers (SVIDs), alarm identifiers (ALIDs), and collection event identifiers (CEIDs). Moreover, such information can be obtained directly from the equipment now.

Data setup items can be checked against test plans in order to determine where they are used. Furthermore, it can be also evaluated whether the equipment is compliant with the data setup.

The completeness and validity of the data setup can be explored automatically before a test run.
